10 Thousand Design Wins Webby

10T Webby Awards

10 Thousand Design, Colle+McVoy’s design partner, won a 2017 Webby Award and is the very best of the Internet in the Websites, Architecture & Design category. Hailed as the “Internet's highest honor” by The New York Times, the 21st Annual Webby Awards is the leading international award honoring excellence on the Internet.

10 Thousand Design won for the website it created when the firm launched last year. The site design reflects the 10 Thousand Design brand - simple, functional and beautiful, brought together through design alchemy. Exceptional art direction allowed for the successful curation of new and archived work to present a unified look and voice. The site also showcases 10 Thousand Design’s unique model - a multidisciplinary brand design firm with the soul of a boutique but the resources of a large, integrated agency.

“This is an incredible honor for our team,” said Ed Bennett, founder and executive design director, 10 Thousand Design. “We’re not even a year old, and to bring home a Webby proves that when you bring incredible people and ideas together, and inspire them with smart insight, design can create meaning and magic.”

While this is the first Webby for 10 Thousand Design, the agency has touched numerous Webby-winning projects through its agency partner, Colle+McVoy, which has been honored for eight years. 2017 winners will be honored during a star-studded event in New York City on May 15, where they will have an opportunity to deliver one of the Webby's hallmark five-word speeches.
